Hi! I’m Sara Mone. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor and owner of Momentum Therapy.

I provide telehealth therapy to individuals and groups across the state of Wyoming. My work is grounded in the belief that the mind and body are deeply connected—and that true healing happens when we learn to understand and regulate our nervous system.

I help clients recognize how anxiety, stress, and depression show up in the body, and I guide them in building tools for nervous system regulation, emotional balance, and holistic wellbeing. My therapeutic style blends multiple modalities including: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Polyvagal Theory, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. My approach is supportive, empowering, and centered on helping you reconnect with your strengths.

I’m passionate about helping people develop healthier habits, reshape unhelpful thought patterns, and create space for growth and healing. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, feeling disconnected, or simply wanting to improve your overall wellness, I’m here to support you in creating meaningful and lasting change.

Is telehealth therapy right for you?

Telehealth therapy may be a good fit if you’re feeling overwhelmed, mentally and/or physically. You may noticed symptoms like increased anxiety, racing thoughts, irritability, fatigue, or a sense that something just “isn’t right”. Many people I work with also struggle with overwhelming perfectionism—the pressure to do everything flawlessly, the fear of making mistakes, or the feeling that nothing you do is ever “enough.”

Meeting online allows you to receive care from the comfort of your own home, without the stress of commuting, rushing between appointments, or navigating unfamiliar environments. This can help your nervous system stay more regulated which makes therapeutic work even more effective.

Online sessions also offer flexibility for busy schedules and for those who live in rural parts of Wyoming with limited access to services. For many clients, telehealth provides a safe, private space to open up, reflect, and practice new skills in real time, right where they live and spend most of their time.

If you’ve been feeling overwhelmed or unsure about starting therapy, telehealth can be a gentle, accessible way to being your healing process while still receiving high-quality support.

Does any of this sound familiar?

  • You wake up in the morning and immediately feel stressed out.

  • You rush from task to task throughout your day and never feel like your caught up.

  • Everything feels like an emergency and you’re the only one who can fix it.

  • You find yourself thinking, “I used to enjoy doing that but I just don’t have time anymore.”

  • By the end of the week, you’re exhausted and no longer have the motivation to do that thing you had planned or committed to doing a few days ago.

If these experiences resonate with you, this may be the perfect time to learn new tools and take the first step toward a healthier more empowered life.
