Frequently Asked Questions

  • Therapy is a space designed for reflection, healing, and growth - a place where you can talk openly about what’s been weighing on you without judgment or pressure.

In your first few sessions, Sara will take time to get to know you, understand what’s been challenging, and clarify what you’d like to work toward. From there, sessions are guided by your goals and paced to fit your comfort level.

Over time, you’ll begin to notice shifts in how you think, respond, and relate to yourself and others. The process is collaborative, supportive, and built around helping you make sustainable changes that last.

  • Getting started is simple. You can schedule a free 10-15 minute consultation directly through Sara’s website.

Once you connect, Sara will walk you through what to expect - from completing intake forms to preparing for your first session.

You don’t have to have everything figured out before reaching out, starting is the first step toward feeling supported and making positive change.

  • A typical session lasts about 50 minutes and takes place online. Each meeting is a calm, confidential space to explore what’s been on your mind.

You’ll reflect on what’s happening in your life, process emotions, and work with Sara to find tools and insights that support your goals.

Some sessions focus on gentle exploration; others may help you practice new coping strategies or communication skills. There’s no “right way” to do therapy, it’s a process designed for you.

  • Telehealth therapy is online therapy provided through secure, HIPAA compliant video sessions that allow you to meet with your therapist from the comfort and privacy of your own space.

Sessions take place in a safe, supportive space and feel very similar to in person therapy. You can talk openly, reflect on what is coming up, and work through challenges in real time without commuting or sitting in a waiting room.

Telehealth therapy is personalized to your needs and depends on your goals, because therapy is not one size fits all. Many clients notice meaningful shifts while appreciating the flexibility and ease of online sessions.
